The 8th policy and technical workshop was held in Kuala Lumpur in the first week of March 2014. Finance regulators and officials from eleven APEC member economies considered the proposed passport arrangements.
A further program on capacity building for targeted developing economies was also conducted in conjunction with this workshop.
The working group (Australia, New Zealand, Republic of Korea and Singapore) also holds its 4th meeting to progress discussions on the technical details of the passport and finalise a draft consultation paper.
