Consultation on ARFP Guidance (2017)

The Asia Region Funds Passport (ARFP) Joint Committee has published “Guidance on host economy laws and regulations” (Guidance).

The interim Guidance provides general regulatory information to assist operators of collective investment schemes seeking entry in any of the ARFP countries. This can assist in the initial assessment of the requirements of the ARFP and is not intended as a substitution for legal advice.

Public consultation on the Guidance is open for a period of 8 weeks. Submitters are encouraged to address their submission to their relevant regulating authority.

All information (including name and address details) contained in submissions will be made available to the public on the ARFP website unless you indicate that you would like all or part of your submission to remain in confidence. Automatically generated confidentiality statements in emails do not suffice for this purpose. Respondents who would like part of their submission to remain in confidence should provide this information marked as such in a separate attachment.

Consultation closes on Tuesday, 19th September 2017.
